PROGRAM: Spark Center

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Comply with all Agency and program policies, procedures and protocols in a professional and ethical manner.
  2. Work to ensure the health, safety, and well being of both clients and fellow team members at all times.
    a. Adheres to the seven commitments of the Sanctuary Model
    b. Appropriately performs Safe Crisis Management non-physical intervention skills
    c. Maintains the clean and sanitary conditions of the building and agency property
  3. In conjunction with the Clinical Supervisor and Psychiatrist, assist with the development and implementation of the clinical operations of the program, and provide evidence-based and best practices clinical services to individual clients, groups, and families.
    a. Appropriately and comprehensively completes required assessment tools.
    b. Provides evidence-based and best practices clinical services to assigned clients, families and groups.
    c. Develop clinically appropriate program curriculum.
  4. Perform collateral services with families, agencies, schools, and other involved entities and presides at multi-agency/inter-agency team meetings.
    Provides collateral services in a thorough and timely fashion
    a. Ensures collateral services meet all governing regulations
  5. Develop individualized comprehensive treatment plans with clients, families, concurrent services, and other members of the treatment team.
    a. Treatment plans follow the CASSP principles
    b. Treatment plans are strengths based
    c. Treatment plans are measurable
  6. Prepare and complete required reports, documentation, and billing information as well as perform other required administrative tasks as assigned.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:

  1. Ability to intermittently stand and sit.
  2. Pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying as required.
  3. Must be able to describe and articulate events in both written and spoken English.
  4. Must be able to read and comprehend reports written in English.
  5. Has the mental and emotional capacity to work in a highly stressful environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Master’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field required.
  2. License preferred.
  3. Good written and verbal communication skills.
  4. 21 years of age or older.
  5. All required clearances.
  6. Be sensitive to and comfortable with working in an agency that provides services to a culturally diverse population.

No on-call coverage is required, however, the ability to maintain a flexible schedule that includes evening therapy sessions is preferred.

The role is salaried, providing consistent compensation so therapists are not financially impacted by client no-shows or cancellations.
