Adolescent Drug and Alcohol Trends & Addiction Toolbox Training
Please join us for a FREE and insightful conference that will highlight current trends in adolescent drug and alcohol use. This training will focus on the cycle of addiction/adolescent addiction and children affected by substance use disorder. We will discuss the drug and alcohol continuum of care and strategies for working with adolescents.
Presenter:
Mallory Henry is a Coordinator of Education Services for Caron Treatment Centers. Through her work at Caron, she has worked directly with elementary, middle, and high school students to deliver a variety of treatment programming, as well as presented on an array of topics to parents and professionals across the state. Mallory holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education from Pennsylvania State University and possesses a Pennsylvania Secondary Teaching Certificate. Mallory is also a Pennsylvania Approved provider of SAP Training.
Registration is from 8 am-8:45 am.
Training begins at 9 am.
We will offer light refreshments in the morning and coffee, tea, and water throughout the day.
Lunch will be on your own. There are a variety of restaurants close by to choose from-- conference attendees will be provided a map of local restaurants at the beginning of the day. Attendees are also welcome to bring a packed lunch and sit in the cafe area at Church of the Open Door.
