Children’s Home of York is raising money during the 2025 Give Local York event to build a playground on our York main campus. Research shows that a significant portion of children and adolescents experience mental health issues, with that number growing due to effects from the Covid-19 pandemic.
Recreational activities can be associated with a lower risk of developing mental health issues, with higher levels of participation in recreational activities linked to even better mental health outcomes. Please help us reach our goal of $150,000 to build this much needed playground for the York Community that we have proudly served since 1865.
