Without donations, many of these services could be limited. Donations help bridge funding gaps when government funding or grants don’t cover all operational costs.

Children’s Home of York operates a variety of programs, serving clients ranging from 0 to 21 years old. We are always asking for items for our clients and their families! Below is a running list of items that are always needed.

*PLEASE NOTE: All items donated must be NEW.  We can no longer accept used items.

• Art Supplies & Crafts
• Bed in a Bag Full Set- Twin Size
• Bath towels, hand towels, pool towels, washcloths,
• Pillows
• Bath robes – ladies and men’s, variety of sizes
• Sweatpants – ladies and men’s, variety of sizes
• Sweatshirts – ladies and men’s, variety of sizes
• Toiletries –shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, toothpaste, feminine products
• Underwear – girls, boys, ladies, men’s, variety of sizes
• Socks- men’s, ladies, girls, boys

Children’s Home of York also assists some adolescents who are transferring out of care and into their first independent living space. We like to try and provide them with some of the basics as well. Some ideas are:

• Kitchen towels, dish towels
• Dishes – glasses, bowls, plates, utensils
• Pots, pans, cookware
• Small appliances – coffee maker, toaster, iron
• Small household furniture
• Luggage
