Jen Hitz is the President/CEO of Leg Up Farm, a pediatric therapy center for children with special needs. She has been with the organization for 11 years and in the nonprofit industry for 25 years. Before assuming the President/CEO position, Jen oversaw Leg Up Farm’s development department, including grant writing, fundraising events, and the stewardship of individual and corporate donors. Jen’s nonprofit career began at State College, working in residential settings with dependent, delinquent, and homeless/runaway children and youth. She is a 1999 graduate of Pennsylvania State University with a BS in Human Development and Family Studies. She is also a 2017 graduate of Mentorship York and a 2023 graduate of the York Federal Fellows. Community involvement includes the Junior League of York, Women United of the York County United Way, York County Leave a Legacy, and WCCOSP (a mentorship program at York College of Pennsylvania).
