Christine E. Dombrosky is an accomplished development and fundraising professional with over two decades of experience in nonprofit leadership, donor engagement, and event planning. Currently serving as the Senior Fundraising and Development Coordinator at the Children’s Home of York, Christine leads major initiatives including annual appeals, corporate sponsorship outreach, and community drives, helping to raise over $130,000 annually through EITC and securing thousands of donated items for children in need.

Her background spans several respected organizations such as The Susquehanna Association for the Blind and Vision Impaired and Make-A-Wish®, where she spearheaded high-profile events like the “Mother’s Day Truck Convoy,” generating over $350,000 annually, and launched innovative fundraisers like “Pay for Play” and “Walk for Wishes.” Christine also brings expertise in grant writing, marketing, social media management, and volunteer coordination.

A graduate of Cabrini College with a degree in English and Communications, Christine is known for her interpersonal excellence, adaptability, and creative event strategy. She combines her communication skills with a result-driven approach to make a lasting impact in the nonprofit sector.

In her spare time, Christine enjoys spending time with her son, Gavin.  She also loves to travel and enjoys her weekly dinner dates with her close-knit group of friends or her finance, Randy.  Christine is also the loving “mom” to her three rescue cats, Mittens, Princess, and Dewey!
