At Children’s Home of York, we believe that every step a young person takes toward healing and personal growth deserves recognition. That’s why we created the Our BRIDGES™ Program—a trauma-informed, strengths-based initiative that empowers youth to grow, achieve, and succeed.

One of the most exciting aspects of this program is our unique BRIDGES™ Bucks reward system.

What Are BRIDGES™ Bucks?

As youth in our program work on their goals, demonstrate positive behavior, and make progress in their personal development, they earn BRIDGES™ Bucks—a fun, meaningful way to celebrate their efforts.

At the end of each month, students use their BRIDGES™ Bucks to “shop” at our on-site BRIDGES™ Store, choosing from a variety of reward items as a way to recognize their hard work and achievements.

To keep the store full of exciting and encouraging rewards, we rely on generous community support. Donating is easy—and makes a direct impact on the lives of the youth we serve.
